TROUP HIGH SCHOOL
 MISSION STATEMENT

   Troup County Comprehensive High School is dedicated to
   excellence through hard work, personal character, and
   outstanding student achievement.

 


BELIEFS
 

    1.  All students should have the opportunity to learn,
        achieve, and succeed up to their individual potential.
    2.  Students learn in different ways.
    3.  A safe and physically comfortable environment promotes
         student learning.
    4.  A student's self-esteem is enhanced by positive
         relationships and mutual respect among and between
         students and staff.
    5.  Students learn best when they are actively engaged in
         the learning process.
    6.  Developmentally appropriate learning activities enhance
         learning at all levels.
    7.  Teachers, parents, and the community share the
         responsibility
for the support of the school's mission.
  
8.   Exceptional students require special services and
         resources.
    9.  Each student is a valued individual with unique physical,
         social, emotional and intellectual needs.
   10. Instructional practices should incorporate learning
         activities that take into account differences in learning
